Registering for Classes
When you have paid your tuition fees for the coming February-August Semester (Semester Genap) of the 2023/2024 Academic Year, you will be able to register for classes between the 22nd and the 26th of January 2024. This is done through the Student Portal of the Padjadjaran Academic Information System (PAcIS). All classes offered will be displayed. You will have to have Academic Advising Sessions (Perwalian/Bimbingan Akademik) with your respective Academic Advisors (Dosen Wali) before you register for classes so that they can approve your study plan for the semester based on the discussion in the sessions.
Some courses have more than one class. Each class has a quota. Enrollment in such classes is on a first-come-first-serve basis. You do not have to take the same class for different courses (e.g. if you take the Class A schedule for Reading for Gist, you can take the Class C schedule for Essay Writing). Nor do you have to take the same class from preveious semesters (e.g. if you sat in Class C for Basic Grammar, you can choose to take Class A for Intermediate Grammar).
If you are going to put your waived courses in your study contract (KRS), take the Class E (night or weekend schedules).
If you have taken most of your mandatory (wajib) courses, you can begin to take elective (pilihan) courses. You can take elective courses offered by the English Studies Program or by other study programs at Unpad. If you plan to take elective courses outside of Unpad next semester through the IISMA or PMM programs, complete the form available on this LINK. You can also take advantage of Experiential Learning Opportunities as electives.
