The English Studies Programme, Faculty of Arts, Universitas Padjadjaran will be holding a seminar on the prospect that graduates our English Studies programme have, particularly in facing global competition for careers and further studies in the wake of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).
The seminar will be held on Wednesday, 18 May 2016 at 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the Aula of Gedung D 3rd floor. Speakers will all be alumni of our programme. They are:
Mr. RICKY AMAN, who has vast experience in tourism, public relations, business management, media, teaching, and other fields. He holds an M.B.A. degree from the City University of Los Angeles and an M.M. from the Open University in Kuala Lumpur. He has also received a number of scholarships not only for both of his master’s degrees but also for several non-degree programs in various fields. Prior to his becoming an independent specialist, he worked at P.T. Caltex Indonesia; Texaco Inc., New York; and Chevron Corp., San Francisco. He has numerous experiences in speaking about the ASEAN Economic Community on various occasions. He is an expert observer of issues pertaining to corporate communications, oil & gas, education, global culture and tourism, equity stocks commodities & property investment, and asset management.
Ms. ZITA REYNINTA SARI, who has experiences working as a translator/interpreter, event organizer, and public relations officer. Until 2013, she worked in Fortune PR in Jakarta. She is a recipient of the LPDP scholarship and is now completing her master’s degree in the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She has also been active in community involvement. She will be speaking via video conference.
Mr. MOHAMAD NOOR RIZAL, who has experiences as a teacher at the Language Center of the Faculty of Arts, an assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, and a lecturer at the Langlangbuana University, Bandung. In addition, Mr. Rizal has also worked as an IT specialist. He is also a recipient of the LPDP scholarship and is set to begin his studies at the master’s level in the Australian National University, Canberra in this coming semester.
